The Baku Book Center on Sept. 28 hosted the final exhibition and award ceremony of the winners of the children's drawing contest dedicated to the 650th anniversary of the great Azerbaijani poet and thinker Imadeddin Nasimi. 
 
About 40 works were submitted to the competition, which was held among the 6-14 years old children. Famous Azerbaijani artists evaluated the works and determined 3 following winners: Shahmardanzade Narmin (15 years old, 1st place), Mammadli Nurchin (12 years old, 2nd place) and Suleymanov Seymur (11 years old, 3rd place). In addition, the works of three more participants were awarded special prizes from the Baku Book Center.
 
Authors of works are Alekperzadeh Zahra (13 years old), Feyziran Zaman (7 years old) and Sadigzade Umay (7 years old). The winners of the competition received diplomas and gifts, the participants were awarded certificates. People's artist Arif Huseynov, honored artist Rashad Mehdiyev, poetess Leyla Begim and other guests of the exhibition congratulated the winners and wished them success.
