The Baku Book Center on December 25 hosted a book launch event for the book “About Heydar Aliyev” and www.aboutheydaraliyev.com website prepared by the Initiatives and Projects Center jointly with the Baku Book Center.
Addressing the event participants, director of the Baku Book Center Gunel Rzayeva said that the book, published in Azerbaijani, Russian, English and Spanish, contains quotes and statements from 400 political, public, religious, scientific and cultural figures of the world about national leader Heydar Aliyev.
Representative of the Initiatives and Projects Center Aliya Safarova said that the project was implemented in accordance with the plan of events as part of the Heydar Aliyev Year.
Doctor of Historical Sciences Hasan Hasanov, national writer Anar, former head of the Secretariat of the President of Azerbaijan Dilara Seyidzade stressed the importance of passing on the unprecedented experience of the great leader to the younger generation.
The event also featured songs by Azerbaijani composers performed by talented vocalists.

A documentary "Azerbaijani Erivan" was shown at the Baku Book Center on April 19. The event was organized with the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. The film was created as part of the Fortis Films project by Fortis Construction company.
