The launch of "The Mysterious Fate of the General" book by Azerbaijani historian Maharram Zulfugarli was held at the Baku Book Center on December 3, with the support of the International Association Israel-Azerbaijan "AzIz". The book is dedicated to the 120th anniversary of Major General Mammad Bagir Bagirov, the victory of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan and the 30th anniversary of the restoration of the independence of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The proceeds from the sale of book will be donated to the “YAŞAT” fund.
The book tells about the life and work of the Chief of the Air Defense Staff of the Baku Military District, Major General Mammad Bagir Bagirov during the Second World War.
Head of the Azerbaijan Cultural Center in Israel Yegiana Salman, Doctor of Historical Sciences Maharram Zulfugarli, Azerbaijani national writer Chingiz Abdullayev, Head of the International Relations Department of the Azerbaijan Tourism and Management University Orhan Musa, Head of the Museum of Military History Azizaga Ganizade, Professor Asif Hajiyev, family members of the general attended the event.
