The Baku Book Center on December 28 hosted a performance for the pupil of boarding school No. 10 on the occasion of the New Year and the Day of Solidarity of World Azerbaijanis.
A concert called “Bir olaq, birgə şənlənək” (“Let’s unite to have fun together”) was organized by the Children and Youth Development Center No. 3 together with the Baku Book Center.
Guests watched an interesting entertainment program full of songs, dances and colorful skits performed by young actors of the Children and Youth Development Center No. 3.
Guests also got acquainted with an exhibition of children's crafts and drawings, walked through various areas of the Book Center, listened to fairy tales and were offered a lunch at the Coffemood cafe, located within the Baku Book Center. At the end of the event children were presented with gifts and books from the Baku Book Center, the Executive Power of Baku City and the Children and Youth Development Center No. 3.

The Baku Book Сenter on May 2 hosted the presentation of “Azim Azimzade” art book published by National Art Museum of Azerbaijan. The book covers paintings by Azim Azimzade, outstanding artist, founder of Azerbaijani satirical graphics. The editor and author of the book is Professor of the Azerbaijan State Academy of Arts Chingiz Farzaliyev.

A documentary "Azerbaijani Erivan" was shown at the Baku Book Center on April 19. The event was organized with the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. The film was created as part of the Fortis Films project by Fortis Construction company.
